Nagano is one of the 47 prefectures in Japan, located in the middle of the main island, Honshu. Then, Southern Nagano is one of the most unique and attractive regions in Japan.

Surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Southern and Central Japanese Alps, it is no exaggeration to say that it is the only one of its kind in Japan. The region offers not only beautiful nature in each of the four seasons, but also exceptional “seasonal” tastes and activities that each season brings.

In particular, the scenery of the mountains in the clear air and the rural landscape with clear streams flowing through it can deeply impress visitors.

In addition to its natural beauty, Southern Nagano has many other attractions, such as the traditional culture that has taken root in the region and the warm hospitality of its people. The culture that can be experienced only in this region is also loved by many travelers. We will deliver “authentic experiences” unique to Southern Nagano to overseas travelers.

We will continue our efforts to meet the needs of foreign travelers and to make Southern Nagano a region that attracts the attention of the world by focusing on sustainable tourism and the ability to disseminate information through the use of digital technology.
