Our guests from Czech Republic, Marian and Ivona stayed two days in Southern Nagano region, including an overnight in Gekkabijin in Shimojo village.

Here is the itinerary of their stay. The journey was escorted by national government licensed guide-interpreter, who picked them up at Kansai airport in Osaka.

Day 1-3 Staying in Osaka - Under own arrangement

Day 4 - Visiting Nara before arriving in Iida. Nara - Kyoto by Kintetsu train and Kyoto - Nagoya by Shinkansen. Intercity bus from Meitetsu bus center in Nagoya to Igara bus stop in Iida. Picked up by a staff from Gekkabijin and transfered to the ryokan inn by complimentary minibus. Enjoying hot spring and dinner at Gekkabijin.

Day 5 - Breakfast at Gekkabijin and check out. Marian and Ivona were picked up by a driver from Apple Cab and transfered to Shiteguri station - actually a drop off point for Shiteguri station due to the station can be accessed only on foot by footbridge. Shiteguri station is one of the secluded stations on JR Iida line.

After taking local train to Nakaisamurai station, the couple was greeted by the owner of Nakaya tea farm. Tea picking and tea tasting tour started.

Mr. Shinoda waited at the platform and greeted the guests.

After purchasing the teas by Nakaya farm, the couple took the local train to Tenryukyo station. Then, had lunch and free time to explore Tenryu gorge.

Then, taking again JR Iida line local train, the couple got off at Iida station and transfered to intercity bus bound for Tokyo - Shinjuku, leaving Iida station at 3PM. They arrived at Shinjuku Bus Terminal shortly after 7PM.
